Our chefs have extensive experience working in remote locations, collaborating with local communities to gather fresh ingredients and create dishes that highlight local flavours.

They’ve worked and studied in places like Greenland, Svalbard, Lapland, and the most remote areas of Iceland, learning from local mentors along the way. This experience allows them to craft exceptional dishes for our guests, every time.

When the historic house at Amtmannstíg 1 in Reykjavík became available for business use, we decided to make our dream of opening a restaurant a reality. We prioritize fresh ingredients, which is why our menu changes with the seasons to offer the best of what’s available.
